Please read these booking conditions carefully because by making a reservation you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following conditions. You are booking a tour with TribuTrek, Isinlivi, Sigchos, Ecuador. If you make a reservation with us, you are accepting the terms of our booking conditions.

1. Payment and confirmation of your reservation.
After the original booking TribuTrek requires a 25% deposit within 7 days after the booking. Full payment is required 60 days before your trip, so if your reservation is made within 2 months before the start of you trip, we ask for a full payment. Exceptions are made for certain Galapagos trips and other third party operators, since often we can not make reservations without full payment. Tickets and vouchers will never be issued unless full payment is received.

You can pay in different ways:

• Direct bank tranfer into our Ecudorian bank account. We charge a $40,00 fee to cover expenses that the banks will charge us for receiving you money.
• Paypal, they only way for us to receive your credit card payment. Paypal will charge us 4% to receive your money, so we have to add this to the amount you have to pay us.
• If you are already in Ecuador you can deposit the money directly in our bankaccount or pay in cash at our office in Latacunga.

If TribuTrek does not receive your deposit on time, or you do not make the final payment by the specified date, the company reserves the right to cancel your travel order.

2. Cancellation by client.
All cancellations have to be made in writing and until received by TribuTrek can not be taken into account.

Up to 90 days of arrival TribuTrek shall refund the deposit less $100,00 administration costs.

Between 90-60 days before arrival TribuTrek will not return the deposit.

Between 60-30 days before arrival TribuTrek will keep 50% of the total amount plus $50,00 administration costs.

Between 30 days before arrival payment is 100%.

Above conditions apply for all direct operated tours by TribuTrek. In case of any bookings with Galapagos boats, jungle tours, flights or any other third parties, conditions may vary.

If clients do no arrive on time at the starting point of any of the tours book, refunds will not be made.

3. Cancellation or changes in itineraries by the company or any third party operators.
TribuTrek and third party operators receive the right to cancel or change tours in any circumstances out of their responsibility, for example changes in Ecuadorian laws, weather circumstances, yachts failures, etc. TribuTrek and third party operadors reserve the right to modify any service in order to assure the safety and comfort of its clients. TribuTrek or any other third party operator can never be held responsible and will not refund in case of force majeure like war, demonstrations, riots, terrorist activity, natural disasters, changes weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond the company’s control.

4. Insurance
TribuTrek requires that all participants are covered by appropriated life, accident and medical insurance and that they be financially responsible for such expenses. We recommend that all participants insure their personal property for loss and theft. No refunds will be made by the company for medical reasons or theft or loss of documents.

5. Health
By making a reservation with any of the TribuTrek's tours, the client states that he or she is in good enough health to participate in the tour. All activities in TribuTrek’s programs are being done by the clients with the full understanding that partaking in adventurous tours can involve certain risks..

6. Problems
If clients have a problem or complaint during the tour, clients should contact TribuTrek directly in writing so that TribuTrek can try everything in it’s power to solve the problem.

7. Visa
It is a responsibility of the client to travel with a valid passport and to have right visa papers.
